Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate may be responsible for:
- Supporting the development and implementation of partnership and engagement strategies.
- Identifying opportunities for collaboration with government institutions, donors, UN agencies, development partners, NGOs, and private-sector organizations.
- Supporting resource mobilization initiatives and preparation of partnership proposals.
- Preparing reports, briefing notes, presentations, and other communication materials.
- Coordinating meetings, consultations, and events with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitoring partnership activities and ensuring timely follow-up on agreed actions.
- Supporting programme teams in integrating partnership opportunities into project planning and implementation.
- Contributing to the preparation of donor reports and other required documentation.
- Promoting effective information sharing and coordination across WFP teams and external partners.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should have a university degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Business Administration, or another related field. Advanced qualifications and relevant professional experience may be an added advantage.
Strong experience in partnership development, programme management, resource mobilization, stakeholder engagement, humanitarian assistance, or international development is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of food security, nutrition, climate resilience, sustainable development, or humanitarian programming will be an added advantage. Applicants should also be able to work effectively in multicultural environments and build strong professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
